Winner of the 2010 Jobzippers Business Suit Competition
We are glad to announce the winner of the 2010 tailor-made business suit competition, in cooperation with Jeremy Gleave, Zurich.
More than 200 students and graduates have participated in this year’s competition to win a 1000 CHF tailor-made business suit from Jeremy Gleave.
Michele Tavela, a PhD student at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, has made the race and will now be equipped with a tailor-made suit exactly what he needs when he is going out to apply next year for jobs.
Michele is working on restoring communication and control capabilities in severely disabled people thanks to the so called “Brain-Computer interfaces”. The idea behind all this is to control prosthetic devices by mere thinking.
“Although during my daily living I prefer to dress casual, I cannot wait to show-off with my new tailor-made suit by Jeremy Gleave!”, Michele told Jobzippers after having received the message.
After graduating as a PhD, Michele wants to apply for a job with Google, McKinsey or Siemens. So we would call it perfect timing! We are looking forward to receiving the pictures from the fitting and of course also once Michele received his new suit!

Jobzippers on change.ch – Launch of new interview series “The New Generation of CEOs”
Zurich, 1 June 2010 – Peter Vogel, Founder and Managing Director of Jobzippers was interviewed by Zoran Bozanic, CEO of the platform change.ch They talked about the uprising new generation of CEOs and Jobzippers` ideas and future projects. Furthermore, they discussed the current state of entrepreneurship in Switzerland.
This interview kicked off a new series of interviews in which young CEOs and entrepreneurs in Switzerland will be talking about their business models and their plans. Jobzippers and change.ch will launch this new cooperation in order to enhance the presence of young business projects in the media.
